Toyota Astra Motor output product is still leading the taxi vehicle distribution with 87% market share. The largest contribution is still held by the Toyota Limo with total sales of the last six months as many as 4683 units or 83% market share. Meanwhile, Toyota Mark X which fill the class sold 231 units of premium taxis.

Joko said the demand for cars for taxi fleet will increase more than double last year's sales total of 7659 units. Toyota Limo demand, he added, this year is expected to reach 14,000 units.
"Unfortunately we were not able to supply that much," he said.
He said Toyota is likely only able to meet the capacity of 8,000 to 9,000 units this year. This lack of supply was used as an opportunity by some of the other automotive manufacturers.
Chevrolet, Nissan, Kia, Proton and Hyundai helped enliven the taxi market. However, their presence seems to have not been able to meet domestic demand because the average is still below the sales of 1,000 units. (Fire
